CoreTrac Energy Solutions Limited (“CoreTrac”) is committed to conducting business honestly, fairly and with integrity, and operates a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in all our dealings — on land, swamp, shallow-water and deepwater operations, and in every commercial relationship.
Our commitment
CoreTrac complies with all applicable anti-corruption laws, including the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act (ICPC Act) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) framework in Nigeria, together with international standards that apply to our work. We do not offer, give, solicit or accept bribes, kickbacks or any other improper advantage, whether directly or through a third party, and whether in dealings with public officials or in the private sector.
What is prohibited
- Offering, promising, giving or authorising any payment or benefit to influence a decision improperly.
- Requesting or accepting any such payment or benefit.
- Facilitation (“grease”) payments of any kind.
- Using intermediaries, agents or partners to do anything that would breach this policy if done by CoreTrac directly.
Gifts and hospitality
Modest, transparent and occasional gifts or hospitality given or received in the normal course of business may be acceptable, provided they are reasonable, properly recorded, and never intended to influence a decision or create an obligation. Anything that could be seen as improper must be declined.
Third parties
We expect the suppliers, agents, partners and contractors who work with us to uphold the same standard. CoreTrac carries out appropriate due diligence and reserves the right to end any relationship where these standards are not met.
Raising a concern
Anyone — employee, partner or member of the public — who suspects a breach of this policy is encouraged to report it in confidence to info@coretracenergy.com. CoreTrac does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith. Every report is treated seriously and reviewed.
